I should learn to pretend. Fake things, I do not feel. Things I do not believe in with the fibers of my self. Its important to do this.

No. Not for the usual reasons of fitting in and all that. Those pressures are handlable, most of the time atleast. The reason I would want to do it is simple. Defense mechanism.Survival of the fakers.

If real emotion did not exist in the equation than u have little to lose when it doesn't work like it could have or should have or whatever.

Oh and whatever happens never ever ever say what you feel out loud. It is a disadvantage. Children do that. But children heal faster. But you have to grow up. Not much choice there.
